Nitu Prasad leads the GoodWeave India Social Program. She is responsible for providing direction as well as strategic support to the social program team, specifically within the Child Friendly Community project across the operational states of GoodWeave India. Ms. Prasad is also principally contributing towards the establishment of M & E function. With more than 15 years of experience in the field of child rights and development, she brings with herself a plethora of technical and program management skills to the organization. Before GoodWeave, she has worked in institutions of national and international standing, such as SBMA, RACHNA, Save the Children UK and India. Besides being a veteran Development professional, Ms. Prasad also holds a notable academic background. After graduating from the St. Xavier's College, she completed her Masters in Rural Development with a specialization in Project Management from Xavier’s Institute of Social Services, as well as a Diploma in Computer Applications at Ranchi, Jharkhand.
