GoodWeave International (GWI) establishes the standard behind the GoodWeave certification label. The firstĀ Generic GoodWeave Standard is in force since 1994, and it was most recently updated in January 2016, which requires producers and exporters to ensure that no child labour, as well as forced and bonded labour is practiced in the production of rugs. All licensed producers continue to uphold this standard.

A Special Message from ISEAL

ISEAL Alliance executive director Karin Krieider offers a brief congratulatory message to importers about GoodWeave's status as a full member of ISEAL.
